  "Norma Florene Remund was born Nov. 13, 1920, at Peever, the daughter of Holgar and Efra (Petersen) Hortness. She attended Peever Public School and nursing school at Fergus Falls, Minn. She married Donald Myron Remund Jan 10, 1941, at Peever. She worked as a nurse's aid, a clerk and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Wilmot Lutheran Church and taught Sunday School. She was a member of the Kitchen Band. Survivors include her husband Donald of Wilmot, two daughters Betty and her husband Bruce Zenk of Burnsville, Minn., and Luanne and her husband Larry Warren of Clark; Two sons, Jerry and his wife Mavis Remund of Pipestone, Minn., and Lonny and his wife Norine Remund of Willmar, Minn.; a daughter-in-law Twilla Remund of Watertown, Minn.; 12 grandchildren; and four brothers, Stan Hortness of Sauk Center, Minn.
