  "A Sorrowful Fourth. While nearly everybody in this city was rejoicing over the arrival of the 120th anniversary of American independence, there was weeping in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Mortensen over the sudden death of their bright and charming little 6 year old daughter, Martha Regini. The girl came in from her play Friday afternoon and complained of a headache. A physician was called who administered some simple remedies, and directed that the child be kept quiet, and he thought that she would soon be all right again, her sickness he thought being the result of becoming overheated in her play. No alarm was felt until a short time before her death, which occurred at 5 a.m. Saturday morning. The funeral was held today at 2 p.m. The sorrowing parents have the sympathy of the community.
