  Nekrolog	"Beathe was b. and d. in Albert Lea, Minnesota, and lived on Fountain Lake. She married and had 10 children, 6 sons and 4 daughters, all born at home, all healthy and productive people. She had 3 sons in active duty during World War II: Clayton, Keith, and Jerry, and 2 other sons served in peace time: David and Thomas. She worked all her life, as well as raising a large family, lastly as the main cook at Dee's Grill and Supper Club. She was very religious, attending the Methodist Church every week without fail and raised her family in the church. The 10 commandments were posted above the telephone as a constant reminder of how to treat others. Beathe was loved person. She was social, and loved her family and friends. Her home on Wilson Street was the center of town, the center of the family's universe, where they gathered for every holiday, birthday, confirmation, and graduation.
