  "Iona Fjeldsted Jensen a wonderful and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother passed away peacefully on November 28, 2008 at the Copperview Care Center in South Jordan, UT. She was born March 26, 1917 in Centerfield, UT to Alfred Lars Fjeldsted and Caroline (Lena) Larsen. She and her loving husband were sealed in the Manti Temple for eternity on March 24, 1937. They were married for 54 years. They raised their children in Centerfield and later moved to Salt Lake City. They enjoyed traveling on their motorcycle and in their motor home. She loved spending time with her family. Iona was an active member of the LDS Church and had many callings that she enjoyed. Iona was preceded in death by: her husband; four sisters; one brother, and their spouses; as well as four great-grandchildren. She leaves behind: her three children, Larry (Carol) Jensen, Judy (Kleston) Laws, and Betty (Joseph) Topham; 15 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. A viewing will be held on Friday, December 5, 2008 at the Redwood Memorial Estates Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road from 6-8 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2008 at 12 noon in the Hunter 27th Ward Building, 4980 West 3285 South, with a viewing from 11:00-11:45 a.m. Interment at the Redwood Memorial Estates Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road.
