  Nekrolog	KATIE (KOR) PETERSON was born June 3, 1908, at Adrian, Minnesota, to Johanes and Bertha (Broesder) Kor. She died Tuesday, January 12, 1993, at the Clark Care Center in Clark, South Dakota, at the age of 84 years. Katie moved with her family to Little Rock, Iowa, in 1910 and to Brookings County, South Dakota, where her parents farmed north west of White, South Dakota, in Argo Township. On June 13, 1932, Katie married Elmer Peterson in White. The Petersons farmed in Argo Township until 1969 when they moved into White. Mr. Peterson preceded her in death on April 12, 1979. Katie was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and the L.W.M.L. She was also a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and had done volunteer work at the White Care Center. Survivors include her daughter, Evelyn Heiden and her husband, Kendal of Clark; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one sister, Sadie Peterson of Brookings, South Dakota; her daughter-in-law, Jean Goedde of Goldendale, Washington; one sister-in-law, Louise Kor of White, and nieces and nephews. Katie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Merlyn, and two brothers, Tom and Jerry Kor.
