  "Roberta Fjeldsted Larsen, 85, of La Grande, Oregon died Thrursday morning, June 25, 1998 after complications from a fall in her home. She was born September 28, 1912 in Centerfield, Utah to Sydney and Sena Helena Fjeldsted. She attended schools in Sanpete County and graduated from Gunnison Valley High School in 1930. She married Glen Jensen Larsen on October 1, 1930, Centerfield, Utah. They lived in Centerfield until 1937 when they moved to Ely, Nevada. They lived in Ely until 1941, then moved to La Grande, Oregon. Roberta was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers, and was an avid genealogist and active member of the LDS Church. She has served in various organizations in the Church, such as YWMIA, Relief Society, and she also served many years in the Church Genealogical Library. She served as a Stake Missionary for several years in the La Grande area. She was a devoted, mother, grandmother and sister who spent most of her life taking care of her husband and family. She is survuved by her husband Glen of La Grange, Oregon. Sons Dale of Las Vegas, Nevada; Evan of Portland, Oregon; Roger of Burlet, Idaho. Daughter Sharon Nelson of Lindon, Utah. Seventeen grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter. Sisters Montez Hunter, Provo; Carolyn Harris, Provo; and brother Marvin Fjeldsted of Hermiston, Oregon. Numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Monday, June 29, 1998 in the Island City LDS Chapel. Graveside services will be held Thursday, July 2, 1998, at 1 p.m. in the Centerfiels City Cemetery under the direction of theWarren R. Jensen Funeral Home."
